Buying off the plan is a great way to get into a property at a very small price (especially if deposit bonds are available) and then as prices go up during the period before settlement you get the capital growth…..of course the flip side of that is that you also could end up owning a property that you can’t afford in 2 years time…..which is why it is important even when buying off the plan to make sure the property is a sound investment, if you can’t sell the property and need to settle will it still prove to be a great investment for you?
